New Rules: Open to friends and family of Masters club members who are above 20 years of age.
- you don’t need to be a registered Master’s swimmer;
- smaller clubs can combine and enter as one Master’s Club
Other Rules:
- The meet is run with up to six (6) people in a heat.
- The first length (25m) is as per a normal race start.
- All subsequent lengths swum are started in the water. One hand shall remain in contact with the wall until the start signal is given.
- After 45 seconds rest you go again.
- The last person is eliminated each time a length is swum, unless a disqualification arises, then the disqualified person is eliminated.
- This goes on until a winner is found – last man/woman standing so to speak –they have won the race.
- Dead heats are to be re-swum at the discretion of the referee.
- Points are awarded as follows 1st 6pts, 2nd 5pts, 3rd 4pts, 4th 3pts, 5th 2pts and 6th 1 point.
- Club Relay: Relay places earn double points so enter your club on the day.
- The club with the highest total points wins the Jane Logan Trophy.
- Enter seeding times as your 50m time. For Butterfly with fins, use your regular butterfly time.
- You will be entered into all events you submit a seeding time for.
