Prez Says - October 2023
Now I've moved to Taupo, I have to say the pool facilities here are AMAZING. It seems almost any time we turn up at the pool we can get a lane to swim in by ourselves. We can choose indoor or outdoor. The pool and surrounding facilities are lovely. But, it is missing a crucial factor, and that is all the rest of the CMMSC Club members. It's just not the same...
We had a brief visit from a couple of CMMSC swimmers for the Taupo Masters Spring Fling. Hana and Olaf were joined by Richard and Nancy - which gave us just enough for a relay team.
The event was a great success. Everyone swam really well. Well worth a visit / swim for other clubbies in the Spring of next year.
Congratulations are due to Emma, who was married last week. It sounds like it all went off great.
Summer is Coming, and so is Christmas...

Epic Swim - Taupo - Saturday 13 January - events from 100m to 10km, and everything in between. Fresh water lake swimming means no jellyfish, and no sharks! And - you'll likely see Hana and I.
