Invitation to Enter - Laura Quilter Swim Clinic - Sunday April 13


Proudly Sponsored by CLM Massey Park Pool, supported by our coach, Jane Logan, and supporting Papakura Special Olympics, Manukau Masters Swimming Club are thrilled to invite you to an exciting and exclusive opportunity to refine your freestyle swimming technique!

Join us for a Freestyle Swim Clinic on Sunday, April 13, 2025, featuring Laura Quilter (@auramove) Surf lifesaving World Champion, Commonwealth games Swimmer and registered nurse. This clinic will provide you with the insights and skills to take your swimming to new heights.

Whilst preference will be given to adult CMMSC members, we have opened the session to other active Masters swimmers from other Clubs.

We are also making limited spots available for spectators, aimed at mature swimmers and/or coaches.

Our goal, with CLM, is to bring together the local swimming community around a clinic, and a shared afternoon tea to Korero on all things swimming.

Clinic Details:

  • Date: Sunday, April 13, 2025
  • Time: 2-4 pm, (arrive 10 mins early) with snacks and mingle afterwards
  • Location: Massey Park Indoor Pool, 2 Ron Keat Drive, Papakura
  • Duration: 2 Hours
  • In-Water Participant (12 places available) - $139 - Includes Clinic and Personal Video Analysis or $109 Clinic only
  • Spectator: (25 places available) Koha (to be donated to Papakura Special Olympics - we request $5 - $25.

 

Whether you're a competitive swimmer and want to swim faster or simply want to swim smoother and improve your stroke efficiency, this clinic is tailored to help you get the most out of your time in the water. You'll receive personalized feedback and coaching, all while benefiting from video analysis to pinpoint areas of improvement.

** Please note: We are donating all proceeds from Spectators to our local Special Olympic Swimming team who are fundraising for the 2025 Special Olympics National Summer Games December 10th to 14th.**

All Applications will be reviewed by CMMSC Committee.  Preference will be given to CMMSC swimmers. Swimmers may be requested to confirm they are active Masters swimmers before confirming registration.  Registration will be confirmed via email, with a request for Payment or Koha prior to the Clinic.  Payment will be to CMMSC.  Details to be provided with confirmation.
